Marketing Consultant & Brand Developer

2010-Present,
eBiz Ally | South Bend, IN | Owner and President

Provide marketing and consultation services for organizations interested in growing their online business presence.

Example projects:

Developed branded website for Great Harvest Bread Company that achieved proposed goals: mobile-friendly, e-commerce ready, and top-ranked search rankings for targeted keywords.

Writer, trainer, and reviewer for WP Mayor, an online business website about WordPress products, services, news and tutorials. The site receives over 100,000 unique visitors every month.

Founder of Inside eBiz, a website that offers information, news and reviews for organizations and individuals interested in starting and growing an online business around their inner passions.

Marketing Director

2001-2010
Imagine Marketing | South Bend, IN | Founder

Developed and managed marketing and branding campaigns for a variety of commercial and nonprofit organizations.

Example projects:

Developed and coordinated marketing plan for Wear to Win, a golf apparel company aimed at young women. Teamed with several providers to deliver brand and logo design, e-commerce website, email marketing, on location photography of models, studio photography for clothing, direct mail, trade show design, video, and copywriting.

Teamed with Downtown South Bend, Inc. (DTSB), a not-for-profit organization, in helping the city attract visitors and spark new business development. Some of the marketing and organizational materials we helped develop include their Shop & Play Guide, Downtown South Bend website, Business Improvement District initiative packet, DTSB annual report, promotional events such as Art Beat and Football Fridays, among many others.

In 2005, DTSB helped bring in 21 new shops, restaurants and businesses. In 2006, 114.4 million dollars were invested in downtown South Bend for future commercial, residential, and public growth.

Partnered with JFNew, Inc., a leading U.S. natural resources and ecological consulting firm, to help turn around their Native Plant Nursery division, which had never turned a profit. Through new corporate branding initiatives and improved marketing materials (brochures, sales catalogs, direct mail, tradeshow displays, email marketing, website work, banners), in less than three years the Native Plant Nursery became the company's most profitable division (by both margin and dollars).

By 2005, the corporation's overall revenue had grown by more than 260%, and according to Jeff Sayre, Director of JFNew's Native Plant Nursery, the JFNew Nursery brand became "the highest-revenue-grossing, most profitable, best-marketed suite of products and services within the Great Lakes native plant agriculture industry."
